Hello teacher,
This is my first time watching this series of lessons, and it’s great! To pronounce correctly is always one of my goals in learning Korean. And I love Teacher Amy’s voice. It’s beautiful!
I am moving on practicing my pronunciation then. 좋은 하루 되세요~

안녕하세요!(hello)
I love this series! I feel like I am improving so much faster after having started it! I love Korean music, and because of these lessons, I have been able to start recognizing some of the words in the songs which is amazing for me.
I’m eagerly awaiting the next lesson!

Hi utau,
This is Madison from Koreanclass101.com.
Don’t get panicked!! haha
It is fine. It is very natural that everybody goes through.
When there is something new, some people pick up quick and some take longer.
You could review every chance you could and take your time.
You will make it!
I think writing it down and make a noce would always help
Thank you
Madison

Hello, I’m a total newbie here. I really love the Hana Hana Hangul series so far. Even when it gets challenging it’s still fun to learn. Amy is really great and thorough. I have so many korean stores in my neighbourhood and love shopping there but now that I am starting to read Hangul it is getting even more fun to read the labels on the food I’ve come to love soooo much.
So glad I found you guys!
P.S. Can anyone koreanize my first name? Don’t know how to do it and I’d love it!

Hi Hilda Callmelucky,
Great to know you here KoreanClass101.com.
We’d like to help you whenever you have questions of Korean.
Hope to see you often.
By the way, your name in Korean would be “히다” or “힐다 if your name is prounced “H-I-L-D-A”.
Thanks

I’m confused about a phrase that has 놓다 in it. The bat-chim doesn’t sound like ㄷ in the recording of 놓았어요. It was in the sample sentences for the phrase
놓다 in the lesson 12 flashcards.

Hello Christina,
That is a great observation and no it does not have H sound in it though the batchim is ㅎ!
It is one of the rules that Korean has as the consonants are placed as batchim, the sound changes by what comes before and after.
That is why in this case as the later one is ㄷ sound, it rather sounds like 놋타 instead of 놓다 literally.
You could definitely check out batchim rules when you put Korean rules on search bar and we would recommend you to go over that video as it would give you good insight!:)
Thank you
